
Melinda Maddock
Melinda Maddock is a Director of Madfinch Pty Ltd, a small Tasmanian company operating since 2013 that provides consulting and film production services.
Melinda provides unique insights and support to clients who are seeking outcomes in public policy, elections, community engagement and organisational culture. She is a specialist in political strategy and a systems thinker who pulls together the threads of culture, future trends and operational practicalities to create workable solutions. In her workshops participants are inspired to understand themselves better, find creative solutions, and use their power to implement change.
Melinda is a former political advisor and senior government executive. She has a degree in political science and her professional learning includes creative facilitation, coaching, the Enneagram system of personality typing, cultural transformation tools, design thinking and co-design. In 2016 she received a Foundations of Directorship course scholarship through the Tasmanian Government Board Diversity Scholarship Program.
Melinda is a trainer of plain English with 26TEN. She is Deputy Chair of the Ogilvie High School Association and a member of the Hobart City Partner Schools reference group, and she was a founding board member of The Story Island Project.
